CLAIMS “CONNECTIVITY” ARGUMENT ISN’T VALID WITH DEVELOPMENT ON RAIL CORRIDOR

A public meeting to discuss restoring Newcastle’s rail line, will be held at City Hall tomorrow night.

It comes amid fresh claims of broken promises, after the state government released plans showing development along the corridor.

  2. Why are our political leaders not thinking about the future problems with traffic congestion caused by running light rail up Scott Street? It just doesn’t make sense, especially with a plan to bring more residents into the city,

  3. The reason the light rail route doesn’t make sense ? Because light rail in Newcastle will never happen and was simply fabricated by the govt to appease the voters and lessen the blow of the rail line being cut.

    The govt will drag it out as long as possible and forever dangle the cherry in front of our noses before ultimately canning the project as being infeasible
