SES BUSY DURING COFFS STORM

The SES was kept busy in Coffs Harbour over night, after a wild storm swept through the region.

Volunteers responded to 20 call outs, mainly due to minor damage or fallen trees.

It’s prompted calls from the service for residents to be prepared for the storm season.

“Clean out your gutters, tie down any loose furniture and trim all of the branches around the house so it saves us and our volunteers some effort.”

36 millimetres of rain was recorded in Coffs Harbour yesterday.
