Police are appealing for information after a violent assault in Pacific Palms on Sunday night.
Just after 10pm three masked men, armed with a machete and crow bar, forced their way into the Pacific Palms Recreation Club.
One of the men attacked a male employee with the machete.
He’s undergone surgery at John Hunter Hospital and is in a stable condition.
Police say they’ve been unable to find the stolen car used by the offenders to flee the scene, and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
