Tamworth is on the hunt for its next Queen of Country Music.
This morning the 2015 quest was launched with the help of reigning queen and princess Lucinda Whitehorn and Susie Coombes.
This year 15 nominations will be accepted from women aged 18 to 35.
A winner and runner up will be selected as ambassadors for the region.
“It comes down to personality like it’s not a beauty contest it’s just how you interact with the community are you going to be a good ambassador, your knowledge of the region and the festival itself, but not only that your surrounding villages, towns.”
The crowning gala will take place on January 23.
