Staff at Coffs Harbour’s Base Hospital have banded together in support of White Ribbon Day.
Following the success of the hospital’s event last year, the Mid North Coast Local Health District has expanded the campaign to include all hospitals and health campuses.
“Well they’re absolutely committed to ensuring there’s actions against violence against women and I think it’s a really great indication of the importance of the leadership the staff here have displayed,” said Warren Grimshaw, Mid North Coast Health District Chair.
White Ribbon Day is the world’s largest male-led campaign to stop violence against women.
