WEATHER UPDATE: BLISTERING HOT

An absolute scorcher across the region today and it is going to get hotter for northern New South Wales and south east Queensland tomorrow.

Today we witnessed some incredible extremes. At 2:30pm Williamtown registered 39 degrees, while Nobbys Head was just 24 thanks to the seabreeze which didn’t push very far inland.

Tomorrow the low 40s are expected across the the North West Plains with a top of 43 forecast for Moree.

The cool change will fight with the hot air, driving back up the Valley through the day with high cloud increasing. Across northern New South Wales it will be hotter than today until the cooler air moves through during Sunday.
