Lismore’s Tony Curtis has proved himself as one of the world’s best obstacle course athletes, with a solid performance at the World Championships.

Flying the Australian flag, Curtis took on two days of gruelling obstacles, and finished in 17th place.

It’s a big achievement for the 40-year-old, who’s been training tirelessly for the competition since qualifying in July.
