NORTHERN NSW FOOTBALL HAND OUT PUNISHMENTS

Former Tamworth FC Coach Wayne May and his son Brent have been handed extended bans for their role in an on-field brawl last month.

Brent received two years, and a one year good behaviour bond, while Wayne will be sidelined for a year and also put on probation for his return.

North Armidale’s goalkeeper Riley Hopwood got an eight match ban for allegedly instigating the fight, while Tamworth’s Michael Roberts was given an eight week suspension for a coward punch.
