Reigning premiers, the Macleay Valley Mustangs, have been sensationally kicked out of Group-3 Rugby League, just a year after joining the competition.
The decision was made to exclude the club for 2015 at a group management meeting last night.
The Mustangs have been found guilty of breaching the group’s code of conduct on numerous occasions, including when one player threatened a referee.
It’s the second time in as many years the club has been suspended – it only joined Group-3 this year after being excluded from Group-2.
