The State Government is putting $5000 towards the reconstruction of the boat ramp at Old Bar Beach.
The ramp was all but destroyed during severe storms a few weeks ago and has been closed ever since.
The closure has meant surf life savers have been unable to take lifesaving IRB’s onto the water.
It’s hoped work will begin in the coming weeks.
