WINGHAM AKOOSTIK FESTIVAL IN FULL SWING

Wingham was a hive of activity today, with hundreds flocking to the small town for the annual Wingham Akoostik Music Festival.

Fans are being treated to an extra long festival this year, with the event officially kicking off last night.

Despite the dreary weather today, local and national artists like James Reyne and Grace Knight rocked out to big crowds.

The festival continues tomorrow with Jake Davey and Rick Price taking to the stage.

It’s estimated the festival injects around half a million dollars into the local Manning Valley economy each year.
