The Rural Fire Service is warning of another busy bushfire season on the Central Coast.
Today marks the official start to the fire season.
The RFS says despite recent rainfall, the potential for a repeat of last October’s Lake Munmorah bushfire remains high.
Residents are being urged not to be complacent, and to make sure every household has its own bushfire survival plan.
