Newcastle Knight, Beau Scott, has been named ‘Second Rower of the Year’ at last night’s Dally M awards.
It caps off a successful season for the 30-year-old, which has seen him play in the New South Wales Origin and Country representative teams.
Scott has also recently been selected in the Prime Minister’s XIII, to play Papua New Guinea next month.
He’ll join 18-year-old Sione Mata’utia in the squad, which combines experienced players with the NRL’s most promising young talent.
