40-TONNES OF RUBBISH SPILT IN TRUCK ROLL

Emergency services are working to clean up approximately 40-tonnes of rubbish and building materials, after a b-double rolled on its side on the Central Coast.

The incident occurred at around 11am, along the M1 near the north bound on-ramp at Somersby.

Fire and Rescue New South Wales has contained a diesel spill, but is now working with a crew from the Rural Fire Service to clear the rubbish.

Efforts to remove the truck are expected to get underway shortly.
