Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis, has met with ministers and Essential Energy to discuss the possibility of restoring the Nymboida Power Station back to full operating status.
Locals have been fighting to have the power station reopened after it was closed due to extensive flood damage in February last year.
Mr Gulaptis says he understands the impact the continued closure of the facility will have on the region, and will work towards a resolution.
