Former Newcastle Knights captain and premiership-winning coach, Michael Hagan, has returned to the club in a newly-created role.
Hagan has been appointed Director of Football, which will see him take responsibility for the entire football department and provide support to head coach Rick Stone.
The role will also focus on managing the player list and recruitment, as well as implementing leadership programs.
Hagan says he’s looking forward to returning to the club.
“After some time away, the timing feels right and I am really excited about the challenge of working back at the Knights.”
He’ll start in his new role early next month.
