The Newcastle Jets left town this morning to take on the awaiting Central Coast Mariners in Mudgee tomorrow.
The Mariners drew with Brisbane Roar last weekend and are currently unbeaten this preseason.
Both sides want to gain the edge before returning for their A-League debut clash in October.
