COFFS COAST SHOOTER REMANDED IN CUSTODY
A jury has reached a verdict in the case of a man charged over the shooting of another man at Mullaway on the Coffs Coast in January last year.
Daniel Baird was found not guilty of intent to murder but guilty of intent to cause injury.
The District Court was told the 22 year old fired a shotgun at a man in a parked car, who had a woman sitting beside him and three children in the back seat.
The victim survived the ordeal but was left with serious facial injuries.
Baird will be sentenced next month.
