SIX OF THE BEST AUSSIE CRICKETERS MAKE A SPECIAL VISIT TO KOTARA

An amazing sight at Kotara today with six Australian test cricketers showing up to support the local team.
Skipper Michael Clarke was joined by Peter Siddle, Ryan Harris, Steve Smith, Nathan Lyon and keeper Brad Haddin.
“This is a great part of our job, we’re on the road almost 12 months but as I touched on before, it’s great to walk over the hill today and see 200 kids with a big smile on their face.”
Kotara received the special visit after winning a competition, which also provided a range of new equipment.
“New mower to look after the ground, trailer, signage in honour of our past life member Les Hopton and then the kids got new cricket gear, on top of that to see six current test players come over the rise, doesn’t get much better than that.”
