Inverell’s Macintyre High School has been selected as one of 25 secondary schools from across the state for a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Four students and one teacher will be chosen from the school to attend the ANZAC Day dawn service at Gallipoli next year.
The state government has put forward $1 million to enable 100 students and 28 teachers to commemorate a century since the ANZAC landing.
Macintyre High is one of six non-metropolitan schools selected.
