CENTRAL COAST RUNNER TAKES OUT GOLD IN WORLD TRIATHLON SERIES

Central Coast long distance runner, Suzanne Chandler, has taken out gold in the World Triathlon series in Canada.

Chandler, who lives in Picketts Valley, took out the 40-44 age group in 2 hours and 15 minutes, despite battling an achilles injury.

Green Point’s Matt Baker also took home a medal, claming silver for his efforts in the under 23 mixed teams relay.

He also came 12th in the individual men’s, coming in just one minute thirty behind the leader.
