Taree’s annual Gold Cup Racing Carnival will be launched this Thursday night, with Peter Moody, trainer of champion horse Black Caviar, the guest of honour.
Racing will begin on Friday, with the $60,000 Gold Cup to be run on Sunday.
And for those more into fashions than the field, there’s $2,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.
