The search has been called off for a 25-year-old man, who went missing off Smoky Cape near South West Rocks last Tuesday evening.
The Swedish national was swimming with a friend when he disappeared from view.
A large air and sea rescue mission was launched, but crews have been unable to find any trace of the man, who was in Australia to study at a Sydney university.
