SCORPIONS END BUTCHER BOYS REAL NRL WINNING STREAK

In round 15 of the Real NRL Souths have surrendered top spot after losing to Cessnock.
Kurri beat Port Stephens and Maitland hammered Lakes.
At Toronto, the Butcher Boys looked to have grounded the ball, but Chris Hyde was awarded Macquarie’s first try.
The Scorpions were out to end Central’s six game winning streak and they were on track when Isaac Briggs scored.
Central hit back as hooker Jace Delaney made a break up the middle, before Noel Underwood got the visitors on the board.
The Scorpions next try came from a piece of individual brilliance by Mick Moran.
Underwood helped the Butcher Boys hit back as he set up Ryan Walker, but the home side dominated the second half to win 34-18.
