A group of 20 North West farmers has started a four-day tour of the coal seam gas fields in Queensland.
The trip aims to allow land owners to get a better understanding of the industry and its impact.
They’ll see first-hand what an active coal seam gas field looks like and hear from affected farmers.
It comes as Santos’ Dewhurst and Bibblewindi pilot well expansion proposals in the Pilliga received approval from the Planning and Assessment Commission.
