Kooragang Island’s landmark wind turbine is to be removed.
Installed almost 20 years ago as one of Australia’s first accredited GreenPower projects.
Ausgrid tried to find a suitable buyer for the wind turbine without success and says it can no longer justify the ongoing maintenance expenses to operate the turbine.
