  1. Great to see a good crowd in Sydney, let’s hope the Greens call for an Inquiry into this issue is supported by all local MP’s?

  2. The Greens have called for an Inquiry into this issue, we need all MP’s to come on board and support keeping this precious rail line in service, not hand over this land to developers so that they can build on the solid rail area that is not undermined by old coal workings – this is what it has always been about, nothing to do with ‘Revitalising Newcastle’!

  3. thank you good people for taking this matter to Sydney – I urge our MPs from NEWCASTLE- (yes you Tim Owen) Lake Macquarie, Maitland & other surrounding LGA’s to stop this ridiculous move to rip up our infrastructure to benefit who- a developing few! Surely ICAC lists of names & supporting lobby groups have by now raised your eyebrows high enough to now see the reality of this situation.

  4. I did an ACCURATE count of those turning up at the event. 88 people. To state that you heard four people turning up, Mr Phil must mean you have been sadly misinformed.
