They were the kingmakers of the 2010 election – the independents who effectively made Julia Gillard, Prime Minister, in a hung parliament.
That decision – and every one they’ve made since – has been heavily scrutinised.
Over the next two days we’re looking at the political battles faced by Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott in the lead-up to this September’s poll.

Well this is unbelievable to say the least. Everyone is very sick of the hearing about Barnaby and we all know how up and down he is. one day he says one thing and the next he says another, very nerve racking for the people of the New England electorate.
Windsor is a horrible and very unreliable individual who has proven that he can not be trusted.
I was swearing to submit a donkey vote this September until I came across Jamie McIntyre from 21st Century Australia Party.
I still haven’t finished reading his policy document but at lease he has one. It really is brilliant and re assuring.
To all the others of Tamworth and the surrounding towns please don’t be fulled by media who clearly support Barnaby.

Do we have anyone to trust? I am not voting Windsor on fact that he lies. Can anyone give me some insight on Jamie Mcintyre? I seen his office in Peel street and watched his tv showing, he looks honest at least and if he is as successful as I have heard then he should do a good job running our electorate.
