Lismore Mayor Jenny Dowell swapped the council chambers for a school classroom today.
The former teacher paid a visit to St Carthages Primary School, to talk to grade-three students about “cooperating communities”.
“I think it’s great to be able to see who our Mayor is and be able to have this close contact with her to ask questions and see what she does”
Councillor Dowell was asked all the tough questions, even why she doesn’t support CSG.
“I don’t think I want to see wells all over the country side because our farm land is to precious for that.”
“That’s why people are makig signs like can’t eat coal, can’t breathe gas.”
