SUPPORT FOR OLD SYDNEY TOWN

 

It was once a huge tourist attraction, and now – nine years after it closed, moves are afoot to re -open ‘Old Sydney Town’.

 

Today those behind the push gathered to try and drum-up interest in their quest.

  1. Thanks so much for the fantastic segment on the TV tonight about Old Sydney Town! We had a great day at the Spring Muster. I have been trying to view the TV footage but it won’t play… is it ok ir is there some other format that we can down load it in… ? I’m on a mac..an old mac…

  2. Have tried with 2 browsers.. Google Chrome & Apple Safari.. and even tried the download tab & Windows Media player & VLC player and i can’t get it to play. i get error messages.. Can this be rectified as i would really love to see us all on tv.

  3. clips still not working bummer. It was a great family fun day, kids had a blast, thankyou to everyone involved in organising todays event. Many of my friends & family would love to see Old Sydney Town back, its a cherised childhood memory that i want future generations to have too! Not to mention a fantastic tourism attraction for the Coast! Having something like that means jobs for people passionate about enternainment, a starting point for local youth to gain experience in theatrical performance.

  4. If you want to bring old sydney town back that’s fine but it needs to funded by prviate enteprise not tax payer’s money..

  5. OMG i remember going when i was a tenn and would love to take my children to see it now that i am older and give them the same experience that i had and the memories please reopen and give me the chance

  7. Count me in.. If ya need help I’ll be there. I spent many delightful times at Old Sydney Town as a kid. We lived in Sydney, but had a holiday cottage near Woy Woy. We’d pop in as a break in the trip.
