FIRE ENGULFS SANDGATE HOME

Fire has engulfed a house in Sandgate this afternoon.

The house, across from the Sandgate Cemetery, has been gutted by the blaze which started sometime between 1:30pm and 2pm.

Neighbours say they don’t think anyone was home at the time.

Police are on the scene and motorists are being warned to expect some delays.
