CALLS FOR MORE RESEARCH INTO CANCER RATES AT PWCS

The Transport Workers Union is demanding more research to determine the cause of increased cancer rates among workers at Port Waratah Coal Services’ Kooragang Island terminal.
It follows a recent study that revealed employees can have almost a three times greater chance of being diagnosed with the disease.
