  1. This school should be so proud of this achievement! It is a wonderful accomplishment that will hopefully inspire other schools across Australia. We are ‘the lucky country’ in so many ways, but in terms of support for dyslexic children, we are so far behind many other countries. Our bright kids are being let down by a system that doesn’t recognise their learning differences, and doesn’t know how to support them. For many of these kids, they’ll ‘fall through the cracks’ and just be another statistic in relation to poor literacy/numeracy, excessive school absenteeism and/or early school leaving. Well done – let’s hope other states and territories follow this lead.

  2. Wow! You have done it! Well done for leading the way… I so hope this becomes National. We are trying so hard down here with DAGBAGS ( Barossa and Gawler Dyslexia action Group).
Neil MacKay ( creator of dyslexia friendly schools UK ) is arriving here in 22 days to lead workshops for Principals and school leaders, teachers , SSOs and parents and students…We have over 40 schools participating!!
