Brisbane Water Secondary College on the Central Coast has dominated both the under 16s boys and girls divisions of the Coast to Country Rugby Cup in Tuncurry today.
The boys took down Xavier College 10-points to five, while the girls defeated John Paul College 3-1.
Meanwhile in the under 14s boys, Woodlawn High School has defended its title, thrashing James Sheahan Catholic High School 22-nil.
More than 160 teams from across the state took part in the tournament, which aims to increase participation in the sport amongst juniors.
Organisers say this year’s competition has been the best yet, with a record number of participants, including 40 girls teams for the first time.
