A teenager is on the run after using a knife to try to rob the Evans Corner Store in Casino yesterday afternoon.
Police say the boy approached two staff members at the Colches Street store, and demanded cash and cigarettes.
“It is obviously aggravated as the offender has armed himself with a knife described as a 10 centimetre blade.”
He fled on foot, with two other youths waiting outside.
They’re described as caucasian, 16 to 18 years of age, and were wearing dark hooded jumpers.
