THIEVES TARGET CAR PARKS IN COFFS AND SAWTELL
August 10, 2012 at 12:33 pm
Coffs Harbour residents are being urged to be extra vigilant when leaving their vehicles in beachside car parks.
Thieves have stolen items from 15 cars in the area over the past five weeks, including iPads, handbags, wallets, and wetsuits.
Police believe the offenders are closely watching where their victims hide their car keys before going for a swim.
Police patrols have now been stepped up.
