NEWCASTLE MAYOR JOHN TATE ANNOUNCES HIS RETIREMENT AND BALLOT DRAWS

After 13 years at the helm, Newcastle Lord Mayor John Tate has announced his retirement.
The independent will quit local government entirely at next month’s election.
Ballots have also been drawn this afternoon for councillor and mayor candidates
