DRUG BUST IN PORT STEPHENS NETS $10,000 OF HEROIN

Police say they seized an estimated $10,000 worth of heroin, in a raid on a house north of Newcastle this morning.
25.8 grams of the drug was allegedly discovered at the Raymond Terrace property, along with a substantial amount of cash and ammunition.
A 45-year-old woman was arrested.
Police say it follows an ongoing drug investigation across the Hunter region.
The woman was refused bail and is due to appear in Maitland Local Court tomorrow.
