BYRON SPORTS CENTRE OPENS
July 30, 2012 at 4:55 pm
The Byron Regional Sports and Cultural Complex is now officially open.
The $4-million facility was supposed to open in April but inspections found faults in the timber floor, which had to be replaced.
More than 40 groups have so far expressed interest in the centre, which can cater for a number of sports including basketball, futsal, roller derby and marshal arts.
