WEATHER PREVENTS ARMIDALE FLIGHT SCHOOL BID
July 21, 2012 at 12:48 pm
Armidale Dumaresq Council’s bid to develop a multi-million dollar flight school has been quashed.
The proposed International Aviation College at the town’s airport, will not go ahead due to weather concerns.
Australia Asia Flight Training says fog and low clouds – combined with poor visibility for extended periods of time – made the Armidale location unsuitable.
Council says it’s extremely disappointed with the outcome.
