The Nationals are confident they can steal the seat of Hunter from Labor after more than a century.
Again in the hot seat – Upper Hunter councillor Michael Johnsen was today endorsed to challenge Hunter MP Joel Fitzgibbon.
The Scone financial planner will need a swing of more than 12 per cent to secure the spot and says he’s prepared for hard work, starting with plenty of door knocking.
