July 9, 2012 at 5:30 pm
A frail 81 year old woman has been warned by a Magistrate, she may be jailed if she pleads guilty to four driving charges, without a lawyer.
Ailsa Locke is accused of speeding, refusing to stop for police, then striking an officer with her side mirror as she drove past.
She says, she just wants the matter resolved.
“yes its ridiculous, i lie awake at night worrying about nothing.”
She’ll have to appear in court again in September.
