CRASH CLAIMS THE LIFE OF YOUNG GIRL

A nine-year-old girl is dead and two other people are injured after an horrific car accident south of Forster, on the mid north coast.

At about 2:30 this afternoon, a car slammed into a tree on Coomba Road, near the Burraneer Road intersection.

Motorists are being warned to avoid the area, as the road is set to be closed for the next few hours.
