100TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

One of Port Macquarie’s oldest residents has marked a special milestone today.
Maria Idolicia Gallardo celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends in Settlement Point Park.
Originally a farmer from Chile, the great great grandmother moved to Port Macquarie in 2008.
And she’s got an impressive family tree….she’s the mother of 11 children, grandmother of 36, great grandmother of 76 and great great grandmother of two.
