HUNTER STUDENTS SHINE ON FIRST DAY OF DUNGOG FILM FESTIVAL

It’s back, the annual event which puts a tiny Hunter town firmly on the map.
The sixth Dungog Film Festival kicked off with its student day this morning- and some talented Hunter kids are proving the future of Australian film is bright.

It is a wonderful festival – not advertised widely enough and the tickets are outrageously expensive. There is no incentive for people to see more than one movie or session of shorts. i met people who drove there from Sydney and didn’t even watch anything because of the cost.
