WORKERS ON STRIKE AT BERESFIELD

.
Over 100 workers have walked off the job at the Bucyrus factory in Beresfield, protesting for better working conditions.
The Australian Manufacturing Workers Union says they have taken the action after the mining manufacturing company, which is part of the Caterpillar group, moved to lock workers out for 48 hours.
Workers want the company to agree to a nine day fortnight, and a new agreement is being negotiated through Fair Work Australia.
