NBA point guard Patty Mills has led the Boomers, to a 27 point win, in game one of the Farewell Series against Greece overnight.
The Boomers never looked in doubt against the inexperienced side, although they gave up 36 rebounds.
Blaze forward Mark Worthington enjoyed some ‘hang time’ on his way to seven points, along with four rebounds, a steal and a block.
Fellow Coastie Adam Gibson also came off the bench with two points from the free throw line on the buzzer, an assist and a steal.
They play again tonight.
