MAN INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

A motorcyclist is recovering in Coffs Harbour hospital after crashing into a barbed wire fence near Bellingen this morning.
The Westpac Rescue helicopter from Tamworth responded to the accident which happened on Promised Land Road shortly before midday.
The 34-year-old man suffered a broken hip and collarbone as well as suspected spinal injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to Coffs Harbour, where he remains in a stable condition.
