Graham Arnold says loyalty and respect for his players was a motivating factor in his decision to agree to an upgraded deal with the Central Coast Mariners.
Arnold admits competing in the The AFC Champions League next season was another incentive.
The A-League Coach of the Year will see out the remainder of his three year contract; which expires at the end of the 2013/2014 season.
