MOTORCYCLIST FOUND DEAD IN CENTRAL HUNTER

UPDATED: Police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old motorcyclist who was found on the side of the road at Laguna in the Central Hunter region this morning.

At around 8:15 this morning police were called to Wollombi Road near Murrrays Run Road following reports of the crash.

It’s believed the man was riding on Wollombi Road when he lost control on a right-hand bend, left the road and crashed into a tree.

His body was found a short distance away.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
